The World Cup is about to be concluded and we almost got a clear picture of the top 8. This World Cup was a miracle for some of the teams as they punched above their weight group and shocked the world with their performance. But, not every team had a positive performance, some teams had very underwhelming performances despite high expectations from fans. Belgium failed to qualify for the next round and midfielder Eden Hazard might have to face the consequences of poor performance.

Belgium made news after Morocco defeated them. It was a huge upset and the team could not recover from the blow. The defeat was so unexceptional that the fans took it to the street to show their anger. Fans burned vehicles and vandalized private properties in Brussels after Morocco vs Belgium.

The quotes, if true, can easily reflect the plan of the club. However, the player demands very high transfer fees. Hazard would be entitled to sit on his contract and leave as a free agent in 2024.

Kevin De Bruyne, in an interview, said that they might not win the world cup because they were too old. This statement burned the whole team down and incited a fight between him and Eden Hazard. It was reported that Romelu Lukaku eventually broke the fight.

This tournament had not been good for Eden Hazard and Belgium, and it seems he has some issues to work on for Real Madrid. Nothing is clear as of now as the player will take a little break and then join Real Madrid.
