NWSL star Lily Nabet and Michael Jordan
After witnessing an enthralling USWNT friendly, soccer fans have turned their heads to the NWSL. The women’s domestic league is going really well so far, as fans continue to be entertained by amazing results.
This year the stakes are high as all the teams are contesting in order to clinch glory. Among those teams is Serena Williams’ side, Angel City. The club is aiming for major success and will be looking to become a problem for the other sides. The tennis legend is adamant about bringing a change to the club.
Just like Williams, one of her clubs’ players, Lily Nabet, is also bringing change, but on an international agenda. She continues with her revolution, but the player recently paid homage to a legendary American athlete.

NWSL starlet hails NBA legend Michael Jordan
Angel City hosted matchday three of the NWSL at the BMO stadium as they played against Racing Louisville. The players arrived in style as they brought their game faces. Hence, while arriving at the stadium, Angel City stars came in their savy drip. Almost each and every player came in wearing stylish clothes.
In the midst of the fashion show, Lily Nabet actually came in wearing a rather surprising outfit. The player wore an oversized sweatshirt that had a photo of Chicago Bulls legend, Michael Jordan. The NBA star was printed while dunking a basketball and flying high in the air.

This was quite a tribute from Nabet, and it seems she is quite a fan of the legendary basketball player. Either way, it seems wearing Jordan somehow brought luck to her side as Angel City made an emphatic comeback against Louisville.
The Angels were 0-2 down in the first half, as they ended the first half with the same score, however, in the second half, the real comeback began. Katie Johnson scored the first goal, while just in the final moments of the game, Savannah McCaskill clinched an equalizer.
Nabet couldn’t make any difference as the player didn’t get a chance to get featured in the match. However, this definitely won’t stop her from fighting for the revolution.

Aims to bring change to women’s rights
Shedding light on her family roots, Nabet was actually born to Iranian parents. Therefore, aside from making a name in soccer, the player is keen to help the women in Iran. She recently spoke out in favor of Iranian women who face discrimination and injustice.

“I want the old Iran back,” Nabet said. “The old flag has represented freedom… and [it] is a lot more community-based.” She also spoke about the injustices her community faces. Moreover, Nabet also wants to bring about a revolutionary change for the voiceless people of her nation. Indeed, it’s quite a heartwarming gesture from the Angel City star who is keen to bring change globally.
