To this, Emmanuel replied, “I prefer Cristiano Ronaldo.” Tensions are high at the French cap as Messi didn’t favor the approach the club portrayed in recent times. Therefore, things are looking sketchy at Paris Saint Germain because of various issues. Macron played a vital role in keeping Mbappe at the club when his contract expired earlier. Real Madrid came calling, and Mbappe denied the offer and signed a lucrative contract, extending his stay at PSG. 

But now, his contract expires after the 2023/24 season, and the fans hope he extends his stay and helps the club win their first UEFA Champions League. It comes at the back of the advice Messi gave Mbappe to join another club with a convincing project. As reported by the tweet, Messi stated, “I’d rather you go to Barça, but if you want to go to Madrid, do it. You deserve a real project, a winning project.”

Hence, there is a decision for the 24-year-old to make. Either PSG can sell him for a hefty fee, or he would leave on a free transfer.
