After ending his season with the Al Nassr, Cristiano Ronaldo is currently busy in ventures outside of soccer. The Portuguese superstar has left Saudi Arabia and returned to Madrid with his family. From there, he caught up with his friend Peter Lim in Singapore to offer his hands for philanthropic work.

While his visit to the Asian country was successful, he also met with thousands of his beloved fans. Aside from sending his soccer fans into a frenzy with his arrival, he also made a YouTuber’s birthday special.

Popular YouTuber gets Cristiano Ronaldo as a birthday present

However, you’d be surprised to know what a famous YouTuber got for his birthday. He actually got Ronaldo as a birthday present. The person who got this special gift is actually a Singaporean YouTuber Jianhao Tan.

His wife, Debbie Soon, decided to give her husband an early birthday present – a private fan meet with CR7. Tan, who will celebrate his 30th birthday on June 14th, shared images and videos on Instagram last Sunday documenting his encounter with Ronaldo, aged 38. He wrote, “My wife woke me up this morning and brought me to meet @cristiano. I’m starstruck.”

The famous social media influencer said it’s the “craziest birthday gift.” His wife, Soon, also shared glimpses of the moment, describing it as a “crazy once-in-a-lifetime moment.” She also thanked Peter Lim’s daughter, Kim Lim, for arranging the private meeting. Peter is Ronaldo’s friend.

This isn’t the only special gift he received, as stated by the Straits Times, Soon also gifted Tan a black Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon that is estimated at around $900,000. Indeed, meeting Ronaldo must have made the YouTuber’s day. Meanwhile, CR7 also tried a new sport during his visit to Singapore.

Tries his luck in a new sport

Ronaldo recently traveled to Singapore to demonstrate his support for two youth scholarships, which were sponsored by his longtime friend and philanthropist, Peter Lim. He also aimed to raise awareness for the #BeSIUPER campaign in the country. During his visit to Victoria Junior College, Ronaldo engaged in a friendly Padel match against a 17-year-old teenager.

As reported by The Straits Times, students and volunteers were thrilled to witness the iconic soccer star in action. Ronaldo’s venture into Padel also garnered praise from the sport’s number-one superstar. Nevertheless, it’s good to see the Portuguese superstar engage in such activities.
