Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has dismissed speculations about Kylian Mbappé and states that his squad is 100% complete. In a recent talk show, a Los Blancos legend has come out in support of a different candidate for the role.

The candidate suggested by the Real Madrid icon is also being hailed as the conqueror of Europe after his recent award win.

Kylian Mbappe has been a dream signing for Florentino Perez. The president of Real Madrid expressed his interest in signing the French striker on many occasions. But, as time has passed, there is a new contender, who could be a Los Blancos striker soon. In a talk show, the Real Madrid legend, Guti, expressed his interest in Erling Haaland, stating him to be an ideal option.

Guti says, “Mbappé is one of the best in the world, Real Madrid cannot close the door on him. He hasn’t renewed yet, let’s not play fortune tellers. Economically, he has to be the signing. Speaking of football, the ideal option for Real Madrid right now is Haaland.” The Norwegian was awarded the UEFA Player of the Year 2023 over Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe.

Harry Kane was Ancelotti’s preferred choice for the role of striker after Karim Benzema signed for Al Ittihad. Although no contact was made with the player or the club, there was still a huge interest for Kane at Santiago Bernabeu. Perez rejected the move considering Harry Kane’s age and that the Los Blancos required young talent.

According to Fichajes, Manchester United offered Anthony Martial to Real Madrid, which could have seen the French striker move to the Bernabeu on a loan move. Real Madrid didn’t give any response though. Carlo Ancelotti has made it clear that his squad is complete and he wishes to go into the season.
