Ryan Reynolds, alongside Rob McElhenney, took a major risk as the duo became the majority stakeholders in Welsh side Wrexham in 2020. Since their takeover, the duo has put in over $12 million for the development of the club. Their efforts have paid off as the team has climbed out of the National League and is currently a part of the EFL umbrella.

With the team producing significant results as of late, it seems like Reynolds and the club will be rewarded for their efforts. According to reports, Wrexham will surrender its lease for the Racecourse Ground. In return, the team will receive the legally binding covenant for their home ground for the next ninety-two years.
