“Always Here For a Good Kidnapping” – Keke Palmer Once Left the Internet Wheezing For Asking David Beckham’s Son About His Origins

Fashion and fame go hand in hand. When we talk about soccer, we talk about Messi, Neymar, and Ronaldo, also as the big fashion icons in the soccer world. But these names don’t even come closer to the English legend, David Beckham. Beckham is one of the most voguish celebrities and so is his whole family. Once, his son Brooklyn Beckham, who is married to Hollywood actress Nicola Peltz, had to face a question related to fashion while attending the met gala 2021 with his fiance Nicola.

Countless celebrities attended the Met. Keke Palmer was on the red carpet to interview stars and the event by co-chaired by Amanda Gorman, Timothée Chalamet, Billie Eilish, and Naomi Osaka. While chatting with the celebrity couple, Keke jokingly pretended not to recognize Brooklyn, asking him where he is from, and that gave us hilarious moments in the interview.

American actress Nicola Peltz and her fiancé Brooklyn Beckham were among some of the first guests to arrive. They took a minute to answer what indeed American fashion meant to them. Peltz told Keke Palmer on the cream carpet, “Well, I’m trying to make [Brooklyn] an American at the moment, I don’t want him going back!” Palmer joked asking the Englishman where he was from. Keke then said, “well I’m always here for a good kidnapping” when Peltz said shell just kidnap Brooklyn to keep him in America.

Brooklyn also talked about his American connection. “When I moved to New York, it was amazing. I loved it, it’s where I want to be based when I’m a bit older and I’d like to start a family there… I’ve always been in love with New York. Everywhere you go, there’s interesting people, interesting places to take pictures, the food is great–I’m a very big food guy. You need to try a pizza restaurant in Brooklyn called Lucali.”

On a further note, as the son of Hollywood and soccer world’s power couple David and Victoria Beckham, Brooklyn has always been under the spotlight. The couple has four children including Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz, and Harper Seven. Brooklyn, who is an acclaimed model and photographer, tied the knot with billionaire heiress and actress Nicola Peltz in April 2022.
