Ronaldo was a free agent for over a month. However, he was busy with the FIFA World Cup. He and Manchester United parted ways after coming to a mutual agreement. This situation came about when Ronaldo went to a Piers Morgan interview and talked about why he walked out from the pitch against Tottenham and how he feel disrespected by management and other players.

US Open Cup took a jibe at Cristiano Ronaldo

The reports of him getting an offer from Al-Nassr came mere weeks after he left Manchester united. However, the star was busy in the FIFA tournament and then went to his family to celebrate festivals. The news is now official that Ronaldo is joining Al-Nassr on a 200 million USD annual contract. The duration of the contract is 2.5 years, which means that Al-Nassr will be spending half a billion on the Portuguese star.

Keeping the same in mind, many are wondering why Ronaldo would join the Arabian League, or if he should he have waited for any European team to make an offer. Even the US Open Cup took to Twitter to mock the decision of the star. They twitted, “Cristiano Ronaldo might never win the @opencup“.
