Carlo Ancelotti and his future has been a subject of intense discussion. The Italian manager is on his last year of contract at Real Madrid and is touted to coach the Brazil national team next. While fans are still skeptical about whether Ancelotti will accept a national team offer, the folks at the Spanish soccer show ‘El-Chiringuito’ seem confident about him joining the Selecao. In fact, they claim that Ancelotti will link up with Brazil as soon as the Champions League is over.

Don Carlo’s second stint at Madrid was something beyond ordinary. After a disappointing stint at Everton, not many felt assured that Ancelotti could find success with Madrid. Yet, he proved the doubters wrong by winning the CL and La Liga in a comeback season. Regardless of what happens, Ancelotti’s legacy at Madrid has been secured.

Joseph Pedrerol, a Spanish journalist and a presenter of the show ‘El Chiringuito’ stunned the soccer community with his recent claims. Pedrerol was quizzed on whether Ancelotti will coach Brazil 10 days after a potential Champions League final with Real Madrid. Pedrerol stated, “Yes, and it will be like that.” Perhaps he knows something we don’t?

Pedrerol had previously analyzed Ancelotti in his show. He expressed that the gaffer is happy at Real Madrid while stating that coaches are the first to fall when things go wrong. And so, he added that having a plan B is expected. Could something have gone behind the scenes between the board and Ancelotti?

Is the Carlo Ancelotti saga set for an unexpected twist?

According to reports by Relevo, Florentino Perez is considering offering Ancelotti a contract extension. This has been something out of the blue, as there were rumours of Xabi Alonso succeeding the Italian next season. Perhaps, the club is impressed by Ancelotti’s handling of young talents like Bellingham, Vinicius, and Rodrygo.

Brazil, on the other hand, offers Ancelotti a unique experience. Having coached clubs like AC Milan, Bayern Munich, and Real Madrid previously, Ancelotti has achieved everything in club soccer. The Brazilian job offers him the opportunity to manage at a World Cup, and the chance to revive soccer’s most celebrated nation. This could help him silence his doubters yet again.
