There is a night and day difference between the present-day Chelsea under Todd Boehly and the one under Roman Abramovich. Frank Lampard, a star player from Abramovich’s era, discussed the radical changes surfaced. The Chelsea legend detailed that the Russian oligarch would regularly partake in team assessments following wins and losses and be harsh, which significantly influenced the Blues into being victorious.

Before Todd Boehly’s takeover in 2022, Roman Abramovich had reigned over Chelsea for 19 years. During his reign, the London side emerged as one of England’s most successful clubs, claiming 21 trophies. According to Lampard’s assertions, this footprint left on history was chiefly because of the hands-on approach employed by their then-owner.
