Lionel Messi’s personal bodyguard Yassine Chueko has been a fan favorite. Chueko’s popularity shot up after fans started to notice him man-mark Messi in Inter Miami games like a defender so that no pitch invader harms the Argentine skipper. To back his commitment to his profession, Chueko boasts an impressive resume. He was a former Navy SEAL who served in Iraq and Afghanistan. Besides, the army veteran is also an amateur boxer, known to have trained with UFC fighters. Speaking of the same, Chueko’s latest workout video has left fans in splits, as some called for a fight between him and Conor McGregor!

Lionel Messi’s bodyguard is famous for training with Brazilian MMA star Luan Aguirre Elias. The Brazilian and Yassine Chueko have come up with yet another intense training session on Instagram. In the video, Chueko could be seen taking heavy back-to-back punches to his core and chest. Thanks to Chueko’s ripped abs, he is pretty much comfortable getting hit by the MMA fighter! Besides, the US Army veteran was also seen performing bodyweight workouts by hanging on a pull-up bar.

Chueko has notably revealed earlier that he has been training with Luan Aguirre ever since he landed the job of being Lionel Messi’s bodyguard. “Since arriving in Miami, I have been training with @luanchileno who excels in combat sports. His expertise and dedication have greatly improved my martial arts skills and techniques,” Chueko said in an Instagram post from May. Examining that post from May and his latest workout video, we can see that Chueko’s already toned body has gained more strength and is ready to go beast mode when Messi resumes MLS action. No surprise that fans are going berserk over the Miami skipper’s bodyguard’s antics.

Shocked fans show their creativity while reacting to Lionel Messi’s bodyguard’s workout

Usually, after a free weight workout, people stretch and ease their muscles for quick recovery. But Yassine Chueko took punches from Luan Aguirre to ensure his core was strong. As if it was not enough, Leo Messi’s bodyguard also practiced grappling and lifting the Brazilian MMA fighter. Seeing how he excelled at that act, pitch invaders who target Lionel Messi won’t have it easy in the coming days. Thinking along those lines, a plethora of fans expressed their disbelief at the former Navy SEAL’s commitment.

Here are some responses from fans.

“Connor vs Yass 304,” a user wrote, adding fire emojis. The real UFC 304 will feature Leon Edwards and Belal Muhammad. But this fan thinks McGregor’s superstardom and Chueko’s intense training would light up the Octagon better than the original fight.

“This guy’s training to fight Thanos,” fans seem busy naming Yassine Chueko’s opponent, as Marvel’s iconic villain follows McGregor’s suit.

“All this to catch a match invader??,” somebody showed up on Instagram with a real concern. Just imagine a potential pitch invader’s plight!

“We just want to take a picture….have mercy,” a fan guarantees they won’t harm Lionel Messi if they were to intervene during a Miami game.

“Messi fans feel hopeless when they see this video and the lack of opportunity to reach him to take a picture.” Truer words were never spoken.

It is unclear when Lionel Messi would return to the Inter Miami camp. If he and Argentina go all the way in the ongoing Copa, the Herons will have to wait until July 14 to see their skipper back. And that will be when Chueko would also reunite with La Pulga, potentially giving way to intense yet bizarrely funny moments on the pitch.
