Teams are constantly searching for different and unique approaches to provide them with an advantage over their rivals. Whether it’s signing talented athletes or investing in cutting-edge training methods, the desire for excellence has no boundaries. Notably, Al Nassr has joined this forward-thinking path by adding artificial intelligence (AI) as a method to fast-track the team’s progress.

Reportedly, the management of Al Nassr has hired an artificial intelligence platform to serve as a comprehensive assistant to their coach, Luis Castro. The job of the AI platform will be to offer detailed technical information regarding the players. Aside from this, it will also help the Portuguese tactician decipher the game plan of his opponents by learning the tactics of their last encounters.

Al Nassr clinched a massive victory in the absence of Cristiano Ronaldo

On Tuesday, Al Nassr played their AFC Champions League group stage fixture against Al Duhail. Once again, the Riyadh side managed to clinch a remarkable 2-3 victory over the Qatari side. Notably, the match began in favor of Al Duhail, with former Barcelona man Phillipe Coutinho giving his side a lead within eight minutes. However, the away side was quick enough to respond after Anderson Talisca scored a brace in the first half.

It seemed to be a lucky day for the Brazilian winger, as he didn’t let anyone feel the absence of Cristiano Ronaldo. Talisca again scored in the second half, thus completing his hat trick for Al Nassr. Interestingly, the home side rallied for a comeback as Coutinho managed to convert a late penalty kick from the spot. But it was too late, as unfortunately, Al Duhail went 10 men down in stoppage time. The winning ways continue for Al Nassr!
