Zinedine Zidane is one of the few soccer icons who have had massive success both as a player and a coach. The world wanted Cristiano Ronaldo to be the next line. But he is keen on prioritizing non-soccer endeavors after hanging his boots.

He added, “But no one knows about the future.”

Meanwhile, he was also keen on maintaining ambiguity regarding his last dance. The Portuguese skipper stressed that his retirement decision would be spontaneous rather than planned and pre-announced. While Portugal’s poor display at the recently concluded Euros cast a shadow over his future, CR7 stressed he would continue helping the national team as its captain.

But why would he think twice about helping Portugal or any other team as a coach? Well, he hasn’t got anything against coaching. But he has a dime a dozen other endeavors to keep himself engaged, and his latest YouTube channel seems the best option.
