Dani Ceballos Shuts Down Rumours of Rift With Arda Guler After Real Madrid’s 3–1 Win Against Arandina CF

Real Madrid fans finally got to see the much-awaited debut of Arda Guler which was delayed due to an injury. Guler looked impressive on his debut. However, during the match, the Turkish international got into an argument with Dani Ceballos as they won 3-1 against Arandina CF. But, the Spanish midfielder has shut down any potential rumors of a rift with the 18-year-old.

Both the Los Blancos stars are going to be vital for the team for the rest of the season. Hence, Carlo Ancelotti would not want any off-the-pitch distractions for his players at this important juncture.

Real Madrid progressed to the round of 16 of the Copa Del Rey after a 3-1 win against lower-league side Aradina CF. But, more than the game, the debut of Arda Guler made the headlines. The 18-year-old played brilliantly on his debut and did not look out of place. Arda showed his happiness on social media after his Los Blancos debut. His teammates also posted praises in the comments. However, there was a comment that grabbed the most eyeballs. It was of midfielder Dani Ceballos. He wrote, “Happy for you” with a fire and heart emoji.  The Spanish midfielder with the comment has shut down rumors of a possible rift.

In the 18th minute of the game, Real Madrid got a free-kick in the perfect position. At first, it looked like Arda Guler would take it. But, Dani Ceballos argued with him to take the free-kick. In the end, after an argument, the 18-year-old took the free-kick and hit the bar. He came so close to scoring his debut goal for Los Blancos in his debut game. The conversation of both the players also has gone viral. Guler reportedly told him, “Let me take one, bro (the free-kick).” But, Ceballos kept on saying, “C’mon, give me the ball. Give it to me, Arda.”

It is not just that during the match Arda Guler has grabbed the attention of the fans. After the game, the Turkish international showed his admiration for former Los Blancos stars.

After the game, the 18-year-old attacking midfielder sat down with the press. During the press conference, he was asked who are his idols. The Turkish international quickly answered Cristiano Ronaldo, Özil, Zidane, and Guti. Arda also said that he would aim to replicate the same level of success as Cristiano Ronaldo. Following the game, he said, “My idols are Cristiano Ronaldo, Özil, Zidane, and Guti. I want to be a Real Madrid legend like them.”

The fans were also very impressed with his debut despite Guler failing to score or assist on his debut. Many supporters also saw glimpses of their former star attacking midfielder Mesut Ozil.

The trio of Arda Guler, Endrick, and Jude Bellingham is good news for the future of Real Madrid. They will hope that the Turkish attacking midfielder also contributes in the Supercopa next.
