David Beckham, Who Faced Criticism Over Ambassadorial Role at FIFA World Cup spotted Alongside UK Royals Prince William and Kate

With the soccer world caught up in the fever of the World Cup, some news outside the FIFA tournament is making heads turn. Last night, Legendary English footballer David Beckham attended an award show in Boston. The video of the star footballer surfaced in which he was walking the green carpet of the event among other stars. This pops up in the midst of David Beckham being under fire for taking the ambassador role for the FIFA World Cup 2022.


The stars were walking the green carpet for the Earthshot award ceremony at MGM Music hall in Boston. Boston Mayor Wu, Governor Baker, John Kerry, Shailene Woodley, Catherine O’Hara, and David Beckham were among the scheduled VIPs. The award shows 1.2 million USD for the winner in all the categories.

Other than the aforementioned celebrities and politicians, the Royal couple prince William and Kate also were to appear in the event to announce the winner of the ceremony. The audience was excited to see the royal couple and lined up in the street to get a glance at the Royals.

He had reportedly ignored the question and just walked away. He has also appeared in a promotional video in which he was praising the country.
