The Kylian Mbappe transfer saga sees no end in sight. The Frenchman has been in talks about being signed by multiple clubs in this transfer window.  The one closest to it is Al Hilal. The Saudi club made a staggering $331 dollars bid for the prolific forward. Mbappe paid no heed to the offer declining it in the initial stages and hardened his stance that he sees his future in Europe.

The one billion package would have included paying the French international a whopping $763 million per year. The situation surrounding Mbappe is getting more complicated but the club looks to solve the situation soon.

PSG wants Mbappe to stay but he may have other ideas

PSG has a year to try and pursue Mbappe to sign a contract extension. However, they have also listed him on the transfer market willing to let go of the French striker in this summer transfer window. PSG has put a price tag of around $273,000,000 million on Mbappe, as per Goal. It is yet to see if any club would be able to match that evaluation as PSG is yet to receive any formal bids.

Mbappe was reintroduced in the squad recently after constructive talks took place and played in PSG’s recent match against Toulouse scoring a penalty in the 62 minute. Mbappe celebrated with the fans and reinstated that he was here for them atleast for the time being. The match ended in a draw and the French club is now winless in their opening two matches of Ligue 1.

There has been always one club that’s been linked with Mbappe every season. It’s Florentino Perez’s Real Madrid. They have constantly kept him on their radar. After monitoring the situation for years, they are now poised to take decisive action.

Real Madrid chasing Mbappe

Real Madrid have been in talks to sign Mbappe for years. It was always felt at the club that the future replacement for Karim Benzema would be Kylian Mbappe. They wanted to act earlier but felt it would be better to wait. The events that unfolded recently with Benzema leaving for Al Ittihad and the situation surrounding Mbappe caught them off-guard. The La Liga giants now feel that this is the time to act.

Real Madrid are prepared to make a $130 million offer for the French international, as per reports. The La Liga club is said to be wanting to avoid constant back-and-forth negotiations and will make a bid around 29-30th August. Florentino Perez is yet to make any official comment.

Real Madrid is in dire need of a striker. Joselu has been their only loan signing made to replace Karim Benzema. Rodrygo has been recently played up front but he is not the primary choice.
