Juventus are looking to get back on the horse. Following a poor spell in the last few seasons, the Italian giants are determined to reclaim their once-unchallenged dominance. While they continue to sweat on the pitch, off-pitch developments are equally captivating. Just a few days after acquiring the services of Lionel Messis Argentinian, the Turin side is now focused on bringing another star into their constellation—a 30-year-old Brazil national teammate of Neymar

The protagonist this time is Lazio superstar Felipe Anderson. As per the renowned Turkish-based global transfer specialist, Ekrem Konur, Juventus are now keen to add the Brazilian winger to their attacking ranks. However, the 31-year-old will be signed in the summer transfer window for free when the player’s contract with Lazio expires on June 30, 2024. Additionally, it’s unlikely the player will extend his stay at the Stadio Olimpico, with Lazio also hesitant to offer him a contract extension.

Interestingly, this massive update comes just after they signed 21-year-old Argentinian winger Carlos Alcaraz from Southampton on loan. Notably, Anderson has been a part of Lazio since 2013, after he left Santos. In 2018, he made a switch to West Ham on a permanent deal. However, in 2020, he went to Porto for a season, until he was signed back by Lazio in 2021. So far, in over 30 appearances, he has bagged just 2 goals and 7 assists for Le Aquile.

Perhaps he can find his goal-scoring stardom under Massimiliano Allegri. Either way, it remains to be seen if Juventus can pull off a deal for Anderson. Speaking of transfers, Neymar’s Al Hilal suffered a major setback as a Premier League star rejected their advances.

The player believes that there is still a lot to achieve with the Red Devils.

Notably, Fernandes’ decision also prevented him from getting back together with Jorge Jesus, the former manager of Sporting CP. Al Hilal is aggressively looking for a substitute for the injured former Paris Saint-Germain star since Neymar is still not available. Future advancements will clarify their approach to filling this gap.

One take at a time

I first kicked a soccer ball when I was 12. My early exposure to playing the sport earned me many accolades at the zonal and district levels. I still remember my first goal, where I scored a 90+5 minute header like Sergio Ramos did in the 2014 Champions League final against Atletico Madrid.
