The former Argentinian star was appointed in the summer of 2022 after leaving Sao Paulo.

However, Al Duhail has seen a dip in form, winning just two out of seven games in the month of September, which include matches in the Stars League, the Qatar Cup, and the AFC Champions League. Hence, amidst poor form, the club is reportedly looking to part ways with the former Inter Milan star. In fact, Al Duhail already has a replacement in mind, as they are eyeing former PSG coach Christophe Galtier.

Galtier became available in the job market after PSG terminated his contract following just one season in charge of Les Parisiens. Despite securing the Ligue 1 title, Luis Enrique was brought in as his successor. From the looks of it, Al Duhail is looking to get hold of the Frenchman.
