When Cristiano Ronaldo moved to Al Nassr, he received a sensational contract that made him one of the highest-paid athletes in soccer. Yet, despite being the highest-paid player in Saudi Arabia, the Portuguese soccer legend has slowly lost pace, and in turn, the ratings have plummeted. The consequences are now visible as a $32.77 billion company ditched him for something unique.

EA Sports released a fresh new FC24 game, and the first thing people get curious about is the player ratings. Enter Karim Benzema and Neymar, who now leaps above CR7! In the fresh ratings, Benzema and Neymar leapfrogged the Al Nassr star in a surprising ratings reveal.

The year 2022 saw EA Sports and FIFA unable to come to terms with a license renewal agreement. Thus, the iconic EA Sports FIFA game disbanded and made way for a new video game called FC24. And gamers cannot wait to grab their hands on it. Whenever pro gamers get these games, the one thing that they look out for is player ratings.

After 16 years, the move to Al Nassr promised him big bucks, but the FC24 ratings have gone down. They rated him 86, and he is out of the 90s. With the influx of world-class players to the Saudi Pro League, Karim Benzema and Neymar have better ratings than Ronaldo. Benzema stays with 90 owing to the campaigns he had in previous seasons.

Benzema scored 31 goals last season, and in the previous campaign, he managed to get 44 goals. Hence, the rating looks solid for the French soccer star. He earns more than $200 million with Al-Ittihad, while his former Real Madrid teammate makes more than $300 million per year.

As for Neymar, he has a rating of 89 compared to the Portuguese superstar. He scored 18 goals and created 17 assists last season but left PSG unceremoniously. After spending six years in Paris, the Brazilian soccer star left the club following a breakdown with the team. He moved to Al-Hilal for a sensational contract and will ply his trade in the Saudi Pro League. With a rating of 89, Neymar remains one of the top soccer players in the world and earns a contract of $175 million with Al Hilal.

As for Ronaldo, the decline in goals has meant the ratings went down drastically. No longer is he the star who can score 40 or 50 goals in a season. On the other hand, Lionel Messi still has a rating of 90 and stays in that bracket of 90s-rated players. To sum up, there is a shift in the old guard as refreshed players paved the way.

The sensational Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland lead the way with a rating of 91. In addition, Kevin De Bruyne and Barcelona’s Alexia Putellas have a rating of 91 as well. These four players were instrumental to their team’s success in the past year. Mbappe led PSG last season by scoring 41 goals, while Haaland scored 52 in all competitions. Thus, they lead the way for the new generation of the FIFA video game.
