In November 2022, Ronaldo shocked the world with his interview alongside Piers Morgan. Unsurprisingly, his boyhood club Manchester United took the challenging decision to terminate the 37-year-old’s contract. Ever since then, there has been a lot of talk surrounding the icon’s next team. Days after his country’s devastating World Cup exit, Ronaldo has returned where it all went uphill for him.

According to Fabrizio Romano and revealed by Relevo, the 5-time Ballon D’Or winner returned to Madrid to train. This is considered a big step for him, to stay in the best shape before he makes a decision about his new club. The reason for him being able to return to the Valdebebas – Real Madrid’s sporting center, is the Portuguese starlet’s great relationship with the club.
