Norwegian superstar Erling Haaland has been a sensational addition to Manchester City. The former Borussia Dortmund star took to the side like fish to water last season emerging as a key component for the team. While the striker added a lot to the team with his goal contributions, his presence alone was a constant threat to the opposition, even when the player was not busy scoring goals. English Rugby star recently talked about his teammate in an interview with BBC, adding that he could learn a lot from Haaland.

The $5 million Rugby star was praising his teammate, who had a great outing in his last game, finding his all-time best numbers. However, his teammate felt like the player, despite his sensational performance, had a lot more to learn, apart from scoring.

Talking to BBC, May commented that Henry Arundell has been amazing but won’t get five-try hauls in all his games. He will need to learn that there are some games where you make an impact without scoring, similar to Haaland’s role in City’s 1-0 win over Inter Milan in the UCL final.

It’s like the Champions League final and you watched Haaland play. It wasn’t a game about scoring lots of goals. Those Test matches in knockout games are not about scoring lots of tries, it’s about making the least mistakes, a game of chess. It could also come down to a moment of magic.”
