The Colombian star has never compromised when it comes to her family. However, recent news reports suggest that Shakira’s father has been not keeping well.

Her father has reportedly been rushed to the emergency room just a few days ago.

Shakira suffers a personal setback!

The fans were shocked to hear about the Colombian star’s massive setback. As per Hola, William Mebarak had to reportedly be hospitalized a few days ago. The situation is quite serious because William might be heading for surgery in the coming days. However, La Vanguardia suggests that the operation procedure has been postponed till further notice, due to ‘medical reasons’.

Her father’s health has reportedly also stabilized. In 2022, William suffered major head trauma due to a fall. At that time, Shakira and her family rushed him to the hospital. However, Shakira’s father has been taking quite some time to recover. Her father has reportedly been in and out of hospitals and clinics since last year.
