Shakira with an IQ equivalent to a ‘genius’

The Colombian singing sensation has been a center of talk for many years. She has attracted a global fan following and is also known for her relationship with ex-Gerard Pique. In a video that resurfaced recently, Shakira can be seen talking about her IQ level on Jimmy Kimmel’s talk show. The singing sensation confirms the reports by The Huffington Post about her having an IQ level of 140 when asked by Kimmel if the reports are true. The reply kept Kimmel perplexed on-screen.

“Actually, a long time ago,” states Shakira as she confirms taking a test for Mensa International. Mensa International is the world’s largest and oldest high-IQ society for approved intelligence tests. She adds further saying, “You know my boyfriend (Gerard Pique) says that I have only one neuron working properly. Give me a copy of that article (report). I want to bring it to him. I want to frame it and show him whenever he says that (laughs).”  As per reports, any score higher than 139 counts as a ‘genius’.
