New Balance sued the Italian soccer club

According to reports by Sports Promedia, the New Balance deal with AS Roma was signed in 2021. They reported it to be worth 3-4 million USD per season. However, since AS Roma has now shaken hands with Adidas, New Balance has sued the club on the grounds of ignoring the right of first refusal.

According to CalcioFinaza, the former supplier had a clause in their contract with AS Roma, which gave them the chance to match any rival offer and keep the deal.
