Despite 14 months passing since their breakup, Shakira and Gerard Piqué’s relationship continues to grab headlines. Both have faced their share of negative publicity, but this time, the spotlight is squarely on the Colombian singer. Money Heist star slams Shakira for making ‘Embarrassing Issue’ against Gerard Pique
A few days ago, Shakira faced huge criticism from a prominent Spanish actor, Jaime Lorente Lopez. The Money Heist star expressed his disapproval of the ‘Loca’ singer following the release of her latest hit, ‘El Jefe,’ with a blunt four-word response. Lopez tweeted “Que pereza das Shakira,” which translates to, “How lazy are you, Shakira.”
This was recently defended by a Spanish influencer, who shared the screenshots while comparing the Spotify monthly listeners of Lopez and Shakira. Clearly, the singer was ahead of the actor, with just 84K monthly listeners compared to the Colombian star’s staggering 63.7 million. She also added a caption, which translated by DeepL, means, “Maybe “lazy” isn’t the most appropriate term for you to use…..”
Mi familia esta unida y no le he destrozado la vida a mis hijos haciendo un tema vergonzoso contra mi ex y haciendo que su vida se convierta en un infierno. NO HAY MILLONES DE oyentes que paguen eso. Jiji

Interestingly, this caught the eye of Lopez, who fired a spicy comment in response. As translated by DeepL, the Elite actor wrote, “My family is together and I have not wrecked my children’s lives by making an embarrassing issue against my ex and making their life hell. There are NO MILLIONS of listeners who will pay for that. Jiji.” Indeed, it is quite a bold statement from the 31-year-old.

Certainly, Shakira won’t be pleased to hear such an accusation. After all, it all began with the Waka Waka singer dissing Piqué’s father in her latest track.

What exactly did Shakira diss about Pique’s father?
Shakira’s latest song, ‘El Jefe,’ primarily revolves around the theme of working hard for an unappreciative boss. However, one specific line has captured the audience’s interest. The 46-year-old singer seems to be directing her lyrics towards her ex’s father, who had compelled her to leave his residence.

The lyrics read, “They say that there is no evil that lasts more than a hundred years. But there is still my ex-father-in-law who does not set foot in a grave…” Additionally, these lines have attracted the attention of legal representatives representing Piqué’s father, potentially paving the way for a legal dispute. As of now, Piqué’s father has not chosen to pursue that course of action.
