The Swedish star striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic is always in news for having hot takes on players all over the world. He has a reputation for being outspoken and claiming he is one of the best players in the world. However, from time to time Zlatan can be seen praising his childhood hero Ronaldo Nazario. 

He talked about Ronaldo Nazario in his autobiography titled ‘I’m Zlatan Ibrahimovic’ and about his admiration for ‘The Brazilian GOAT’. Not only that, there are many occasions where Zlatan has discussed his childhood and how he used to try to copy Ronaldo.

He recently gave an interview in which he stated. “I don’t need to describe Ronaldo, ‘The Phenomenon’. I always say you have the players that play the game, and the players that are the game. For me, Ronaldo is the game. When you watch him play, everyone wanted to play like him and become like him.”

Ronaldo started his career in 1993 and played for Brazil, Barcelona, Real Madrid, and Inter Milan. He won three FIFA World Player of the year and has the record of winning a Ballon d’Or at the age of 21, making him the youngest to win. He also has 296 goals in 452 matches under his belt.

Ronaldo also has 2 World Cup wins for Brazil and is considered one of the greatest players. People can easily see why and how Zlatan admires him. He also made a tweet when he met his childhood hero.
