Soccer is perceived as one of the sports that brings joy and stress relief to millions around the world. But for the professionals in the sport who work every day under immense pressure, things can be a bit different. Recently, Al Hilal star Matheus Pereira opened up about his mental health struggles, asserting that he is ‘no longer’ happy to play.
Al Hilal is one of the biggest clubs not just in Saudi Arabia, but also in the Middle East and Asia. However, Pereira’s journey with the Blue Waves didn’t unfold as he expected.
