Cristiano Ronaldo is enjoying his time at Al Nassr. After a year, the Portuguese superstar has seamlessly integrated into the team and continues to enjoy his stardom. Beyond individual excellence, the skipper’s leadership has built a special relationship among teammates, driving Al Nassr to dominance in domestic championships. Amid this synergy, one of Ronaldo’s teammates, Otavio, claims to ‘understand his movements well.’

In a recent interview, Otavio was asked to comment on the key to his positive on-field relationship with Cristiano. Interestingly, the midfielder said, “We get along well and the team does too. I understand his movements well. When Cristiano tries to go down the field, I try to move forward to attract the defense and he does the same thing.”

Otavio revealed that whenever Ronaldo holds the ball, he ‘attracts two or three players’ which automatically signals his other teammates to quickly shift to another line to get the ball. “It becomes easier when the opponent attracts these players, which opens up the field. Often people don’t pay attention to that, but it happens because it’s Cristiano. If it was someone else, players after players wouldn’t follow. This way, another player appears and, if he thinks quickly, he can score many goals.”
