One such story came up in his recent match-day vlog. Against Oldham Athletic, Wrexham won 5-1, as Paul Mullin went into Super Saiyan mode and put up a footwork clinic. Fans got to see behind the scenes in the vlogs, including a bizarre story shared by Andy Cannon.

Wrexham star saw a lion

In a segment of the vlog, Foster was already in stitches as he asked his teammate Andy Cannon to share a story. Hesitant at first, Cannon went on to talk about a story about where he saw a lion while driving on the road. Ben Foster knew what was coming as he had heard this story earlier, the star was laughing all through the story.

He said, “I was driving on a national speed limit road at about half seven at night, and hazard lights were on for this big van with a cage on the back. Soon as I was driving down I was wondering why the hazards were on. So I slowed down, drove past it, and as I was driving I was thinking ‘what’s that in the road’?”

He continued, “Cars on the opposite side of the road were slowing down. I’ve looked, and as I’m going past it I swerved to the side of it, this is where everyone is going to think I’ve lost the plot. It was a lion. This is no banter by the way. It was a female lion because I was looking up all lions after. It was 100 percent a female lion.

The scene would soon cut out but, it briefly shows giggling and in-stitches Wrexham roaster who found this story hilarious.

One eye on the promotion, one eye on the lottery

In the same video, Foster got a birthday card from a fan and would celebrate it a few days later. He got a £10 bill, a bar of chocolate, and a few lotto scratch cards inside the card. While the Welsh club won the match and took one more step toward automatic promotion, the legendary goalkeeper also had a target in mind.
