Later, Kjaer mentioned about the Manchester United star surviving from the cardiac arrest, “You think about him being here, being alive… I mean, it’s a bloody miracle he is alive.” On that day, the entire crowd at the stadium cheered for Eriksen, and he received life-saving treatment at the very moment.

One of the hardest things the teammates faced at the time was consoling his wife, Sabrina Jensen, who came down to the field sensing the tragedy. It was Kasper Schmeichel and Kjaer who went to her first and tried to stand strong with her to help Jensen come to terms with the horrifying news.
