Aside from players, even coaches are being linked to the Middle East, with Jose Mourinho being the latest one. While there’s still uncertainty over the Portuguese veteran’s intentions, he has showcased his commitment to AS Roma in the past. However, a soccer pundit insists that the ‘Special One’ could be on his way to the Gulf country sooner than you expect!

Earlier, Jose Mourinho expressed his desire to coach in the Roshn Saudi League. While revealing his love for the country, the Portuguese tactician specifically underlined his condition of arrival that he would get a chance to work there. Since then, the rumors have spread like wildfire.   

Interestingly, the speculation became a subject on ESPN’s The Gab & Juls Show, where co-host Julien Laurens, dished out his views. He said, “I mean, him in Saudi, I think it’s pretty obvious that it will happen at some point and I even can tell you that it will happen even quicker than Jose himself says. He could be there tomorrow—not tomorrow exactly, but at the end of the season.”

It seems Laurens is quite optimistic that Jose Mourinho will bid farewell to Europe soon enough and start a new journey in his managerial career. Certainly, ardent fans will be happy with this claim. While it’s unclear where he’ll coach, it’s Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al Nassr that has been anticipated the most.

However, CR7 and Co may suffer a huge blow as their arch-rivals are keen to acquire the services of the AS Roma boss.

However, the iconic Portuguese rendezvous may suffer a huge blow, as Al Ittihad is also keen to sign the master tactician. Reportedly, they are looking to replace the AS Roma veteran with the recently sacked Nuno Espirito Santo.

Currently, Hassan Khalifa is the interim boss of Al Ittihad. Notably, if this deal takes place, it will still be a reunion for Jose Mourinho, as he will reunite with another Real Madrid icon, Karim Benzema.
