Jude Bellingham‘s first Euro with minimal moments of glory has come to a forgetful end. England lost the UEFA Euro championship final game to Spain. The Real Madrid star did put out a decent performance. He pulled off a cheeky turn that sent Spanish defenders crashing and attempted a shot. Bellingham cleverly set up Cole Palmer for an ace finish that put England back in the game. But Mikel Oyarzabal quickly helped Spain regain the lead and sent the Three Lions home trophyless. In the moment of loss, Bellingham did not hold back from showing his violent temper.

You might not have seen Bellingham’s violent act on TV, but stills of the same are now doing rounds on the web. Meanwhile, fans are using the opportunity to critique and mock the 21-year-old superstar.

“Not easy when you’re not surrounded by a bunch of Real Madrid players carrying you during a football game, is it?,” said a fan highlighting Bellingham is at his peak only when he is in a Madrid jersey.

What’s your perspective on:

Did Jude Bellingham's gesture cross the line, or was it just raw emotion after a tough loss?

Have an interesting take?

“Didn’t even realise he was at the tournament,” the star boy’s display was this forgetful that a fan accused him of ghosting in English colors.

“Play absolutely disgraceful football throughout the entire tournament and then act as if you deserved it,” a fan says England and Bellingham never deserved to go all the way in the Euros.

“Ahahahahaha most overrated player I’ve seeen, VISCA ESPANYA,” another user said. Rival supporters already brand Bellingham as an overrated player of sorts. His abysmal campaign at the Euro will further aggravate the situation.

Jude Bellingham finished the current Euro with two goals and an assist. He scored England’s only goal in their opener. Thereafter, his 95th-minute overhead kick gave England the lifeline in the knockout against Slovakia. Now, in this losing game, the Madrid star registered an assist. These moments aside, the Euro has provided Bellingham with a number of areas he needs to retrospect and improve.
