From being a world cup winner with France in 2018, Cristiano Ronaldo’s ex-teammates career suddenly looks bleak. The midfielder arrived at Juventus after much fanfare. But the club hopes to move forward by being ready to sell him soon. 

Reportedly, the club is growing ‘tired’ of his injuries. Therefore, the second spell in Juventus failed to catch fire as expected. He is yet to appear for the club after re-joining them on a free transfer from soccer superclub Manchester United. With Juventus’ financial scam problems at the forefront, Pogba’s transfer deal would probably come as one of the factors.

Ronaldo and Pogba enjoyed different second spells at their club and quickly moved on. Ronaldo pointed out the backward-thinking mentality of the club, while Pogba grew frustrated with his role at United. Likewise, fans had earlier dissed Ronaldo for destroying the club. It seems to be a similar cause of concern with Pogba. The French superstar suffered a knee injury in the preseason and underwent surgery; forcing him to miss the World Cup in Qatar.

Tipped to make his second debut in the Coppa Italia side’s quarter-final match against Lazio, Pogba relapsed his injury that left Juventus ‘frustrated.’ The prolonged absence of the player on the sidelines was not something the club planned. Pogba’s contract only expires in 2026 and reportedly is ‘increasingly becoming a problem’ at Juventus.
