But a recent statement by Mbappe reveals that the players had some fun in the camp by ignoring the coach’s orders. This led to one of the most exciting outcomes of their spell together in the French league.

Sometimes things can turn dramatic quite quickly, if the play does not align with the coach’s expectations. But in this case, the ability of the three players made possible one record goal in Ligue 1.

In a recent interview, Mbappe said, “Galtier and his assistant asked us to repeat it two or three times, but we told him: We understood it. Don’t worry, we will do it tomorrow. He kept saying, but tomorrow. and we answered him, Don’t worry, tomorrow we will do it.”

On August 21, 2022, French soccer witnessed a masterclass from the trio of Lionel Messi, Neymar, and Mbappe. Just after a couple of touches post-kick-off, Lionel Messi received the ball from Neymar at the center of the pitch. The player then did not waste any time and pummelled a long ball to Mbappe, who scooped it over the Lille goalkeeper breaking the previous record of 13 seconds set by Yoan Gouffran.

But more shockingly, Mbappe revealed it to be planned, and the players were able to master it in just one attempt in just a couple of minutes. Mbappe also said, “The Lille goal that Messi, Neymar, and I rehearsed the day before the match for just two minutes during one attempt during which Messi made a beautiful pass.” Although their stints were marred by controversy, the three players won two league titles in two years.

Kylian Mbappe misses playing with Lionel Messi

Lionel Messi and Neymar’s stay at Paris Saint-Germain was claimed to be hell by the Brazilian. However, Kylian Mbappe recently revealed that he misses playing with Lionel Messi. Mbappe earlier this year said, “You always miss playing with Leo Messi.”

Mbappe also mentioned that for a player like him, Messi always assures to provide him with the ball. However, the trio had to split up, and even Mbappe’s time at the club is uncertain. On the whole, it looks like it was worth the experience to see the legends in one team.
