However, the event’s showstopper and close friend of Kylian Mbappe was left disappointed when he realized what his friend thought about the entire ordeal.

Kylian Mbappe’s reaction was not well-received

Kylian Mbappe was left with his jaw dropped after Cedric Doumbe ended the fight in 9 seconds against Jordan Zebo. In what was Doumbe’s debut PFL game, Doumbe was quick to take advantage after Zebo missed to place his opening move. Doumbe fired Zebo with lefts, as he hammered him to clinch his first Professional Fighters League win.

Doumbe revealed that he had been on a call with Mbappe in the days after. He told the PSG forward that he was upset with how his friend reacted to his win. Doumbe reacting to Mbappe’s amazement said, “Kylian, you disappoint me, I thought we were friends but everyone sees that you are surprised when I knocked out in 9 seconds. But why are you surprised?”

Doumbe’s sheer confidence in himself reflects that there was never a doubt in his mind of a different result otherwise. While the PSG stars had a great outing, they are facing a tough time on and off the field. With the ongoing crisis at the club, Luis Enrique will try to shift his tactics as well.
