Lionel Messi Invests in Kun Aguero’s KRU Esports Team, Joins as Co-Owner

The World of two sports collide today. Argentinian soccer legend Lionel Messi had his crowning moment last year when he finally won the FIFA World Cup. After which he moved to the United States to Play for Inter Maimi, leaving PSG. More Recently, the Leo also won the Ballan d’Or eclipsing young phenoms like MBappe and Halland.

However, something even more exciting hits the airwave for fans of soccer and E-Sports. Messi’s presence as a co-owner becomes a double Whammy for football and Valorant fans.

Another Collaboration For Lionel Messi and Sergio Aguero

Messi decided to invest in the KRU Esports team, owned by his fellow Argentinian Sergio Aguero. Both Titans won the 2021 Copa America together, and their collaboration now finds a way beyond the field. Aguero founded the KRU Esports team in October 2020, and is fairly passionate about the Valorant Team.

While starting the endeavor, the 35-year-old said, “I want everyone who joins KRU to love what they do, to feel comfortable. Encourage them and help them fulfill their dreams. What we do gives us the opportunity to make many people happy and I really like all of this. I want more people in the world to know it and enjoy it like I do.

The World Champion recently shook up the soccer world with his eighth Ballan d’Or beating Young stars Erling Halland and Kylian MBape.

Messi’s Eight Ballan d’OR

Erling Haaland and Lionel Messi both achieved significant victories along with their goal-scoring feats. Haaland, the star striker for Manchester City, secured the treble, including the Champions League title. Meanwhile, Messi clinched the Ligue 1 trophy. The crucial distinction came when Messi played a pivotal role in Argentina’s victory over France in the World Cup final in Qatar. Consequently, it is evident that Messi and Haaland’s higher ranking was due to the trophies they won in the previous season.
