Lionel Messi settled in the United States like he has always been there. Beyond hitting the ground running at Inter Miami, the Argentinian superstar is taking part in several off-pitch endeavors. In his latest move, Messi has joined forces with an A-list lineup for a $5.9 billion brand’s ad campaign, sharing the spotlight with none other than Shakira.

Both were spotted in the Hard Rock group’s new ‘Unity’ campaign, promoting the Davie, Florida-based company. Apart from La Pulga and his former Barcelona teammate, Gerard Pique’s ex, American pop music stars John Legend and Noah Kahan are also featured in the latest promotion of the Hard Rock company. All the A-listers, as well as the Inter Miami star, can be seen walking inside various hotels, restaurants, and leisure spaces to showcase the boutique properties.

In one of the scenes, Messi, with a big smile, walks near a kitchen and high-fives one of the staff members. Another shot depicts a young girl who, while playing, drops her catch ball, which the 36-year-old juggles with his feet to give her back. Simultaneously, while Shakira and John are showcasing nightclubs and bars, Kahan is wandering in one of the picturesque beach hotels of the Hard Rock company. Remarkably, the ad campaign is about their global reward-earning program.

Notably, Hard Rock is a globally recognized name in the hospitality and entertainment industry, renowned for its hotels, casinos, cafes, merchandise, and live event venues. With Messi joining its promotional campaign, the renowned brand is sure to enhance its appeal even further. The presence of the World Cup winner in the advertisement is poised to not only attract more people but also significantly bolster the wealth of the $5.9 billion company—much like the impact he recently had on his domestic team’s finances.

Lionel Messi helps Inter Miami profit over $70 million!

Inter Miami’s general director, Xavier Asensi, recently opened up to Forbes about how Lionel Messi has helped the Florida-based club attract more brands and sponsors. “With the arrival of Messi, we have gone from having a budget of just over 60 million to ending up billing around 125 or 130,” said Asensi. However, Asensi remains ambitious, aiming for Miami to generate around $200 million or more in revenue this year.

The Herons’ general director sees room for further growth for Miami, especially with recent partnerships like Visa. Instead of focusing on quantity, Asensi added that the David Beckham-owned club is rather aiming for quality deals that will help them reach ‘another level,’ like Royal Caribbean or JPMorgan Chase. Be that as it may, the presence of Lionel Messi continues to allow everyone to roll in dough.
