Liverpool has seen some talented players over the years. However, Mohamed Salah is undoubtedly their crown jewel when it comes to the last decade. The Egyptian star has established himself as one of the best players in the world. However, in a big surprise, one of Salah’s former teammates snubbed the player while building his perfect soccer player while picking national teammate Kevin De Bruyne in the process.

Both De Bruyne and Salah, despite making their premier league debuts with Chelsea, made a name for themselves at Manchester City and Liverpool, respectively. The two are currently amongst the top names in the Premier League and play a pivotal role for their teams. Kevin De Bruyne will hope to make an impact on his Premier League return with the player missing most of the season owing to a hamstring injury. Liverpool, on the other hand, will be without the services of Mohamed Salah, who will join the Egyptian national side for AFCON.

It is interesting to think that Origi picked the Belgian star over his former teammate. However, considering it’s for football IQ there are few better than KDB.

Manchester City would love to take advantage of the situation with the team currently on 40 points with a game in hand. If the side manages to get a win over Newcastle in their upcoming game, the Cityzens will move up to the second place in the standings with 43 points to their name. This will put Pep Guardiola’s men within two points of their arch-rivals and blow open the title race.
