“Cristiano [Ronaldo] Makes It Difficult for Us” – Al Nassr Superstar Highlights Major Problem at Saudi Arabian Club

Just as 2022 ended, Cristiano Ronaldo shocked every soccer fan by joining Al-Nassr. Ronaldo’s lifelong fans were themselves extremely divided over his decision. While some fans felt that he’s done enough in Europe, others felt that a player with his reputation should not have considered the Saudi Arabian league. To make matters worse, Cristiano Ronaldo hasn’t had the best start in Saudi Arabia. Quite a few fans thought that it would be a walk in the park for the legend.

However, things haven’t gone as per the ‘dream’ plan. Ronaldo’s teammate shocked the fanbase after he tried to slyly lift a finger at the Portuguese legend himself.

Ronaldo’s teammate thinks that he is part of the problem!

In a recent interview, Al-Nassr midfielder, Luiz Gustavo spoke about his views on the current Al-Nassr team. After being asked about the drop in the team’s performances recently, Gustavo clearly pointed out the Portuguese soccer legend’s name. The midfielder claimed that Ronaldo’s presence has made life difficult for everyone. He seemed quite honest with his words. However, those words have definitely raised a few eyebrows.

As translated by Mirror, he told RT Arabic, “Certainly, the presence of Cristiano makes it difficult for us, as all teams seek to participate against him in the best possible way, and he gives motivation to everyone.” He did clarify that the other clubs around them have started to buck up and prepare better for every game.

Gustavo also revealed that Ronaldo has been a pleasant presence in the dressing room. He continued, “His presence at Al-Nassr gives a great advantage to the group because we learn from him every day, given the great capabilities he possesses, both technically and physically”. However, quite a few people have agreed with what Gustavo has to say. They feel that Ronaldo will eventually raise the quality of the league eventually.

American soccer fans still wonder why Ronaldo never turned towards America. The Portuguese soccer legend would be a blessing to help grow the sport in America.

After breaking the news about Ronaldo moving to Saudi Arabia, Fabrizio Romano revealed another shocking fact. MLS club, Sporting Kansas City tried to convince the former Manchester United legend to look towards America. Kansas City were also aware of the gigantic salary that Al-Nassr had offered Ronaldo. In return, the Italian transfer guru claims that Kansas City also offered Cristiano Ronaldo a ‘huge salary’ package. However, he still decided against joining them.

The Portuguese soccer legend received some serious hate and criticism from the American fans. Many fans went on to call Ronaldo ‘unambitious’ and ‘money minded’. However, after reaching Saudi Arabia, the 38-year-old revealed that he joined the Saudi Professional League to help develop soccer in Saudi Arabia. At the end of the day, the jury is still out there whether Ronaldo’s move to Saudi Arabia made sense or not.
