The Wrexham fans were quite happy as they visioned a new influx of cash into the club, and rightly so. But, before the deal went through, his mother jokingly tried to hijack the bid, as per Reynolds.

Recently, Reynolds made an indirect mention of the same in an Instagram story with his mother and Ollie Palmer.

Yesterday, Wrexham managed to pull off a thrilling win against the title-race competitors, Notts County. While the whole soccer universe cannot stop praising Wrexham, the comedic actor makes a bizarre reference between his mom and good pal at the Welsh soccer club.

Last night, Wrexham pulled off a dream win against Notts County. While the win puts Reynolds’ soccer club in a strong position to achieve promotion, his attention was hilariously elsewhere. Along with the celebrations, the Deadpool star posted a picture of his mother and Ollie Palmer on an Instagram story. The caption he wrote for that story was a bizarre one.

Wrexham hero, Ben Foster was in the news again after becoming the headline act for the famous win. The English soccer veteran saved a penalty in the dying moments of the game. He denied Notts County the chance to equalize in the 90+7 minute. The internet went absolutely berserk over Foster’s save after the final whistle.

In other news, Reynolds’ once mentioned that his mother jokingly tried to purchase Mint Mobile during the dying moments of the deal.

In an interview, Reynolds joked about his mother’s attempt to buy Mint Mobile. He said, “We are so happy T-Mobile beat out an aggressive last-minute bid from my mom Tammy Reynolds as we believe the excellence of their 5G network will provide a better strategic fit than my mom’s slightly above-average mahjong skills”.

He continued, “I am so proud of the entire Mint team and so excited for what’s to come”. After the deal was done, Reynolds quickly invested a portion of that money to buy a few players for the club. With just a few games left, the Hollywood star figured that his team was lacking depth. After signing backup striker Billy Waters, Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney pulled off the unthinkable by convincing Ben Foster to come out of retirement and play soccer again for Wrexham.
