It has been only a matter of weeks since Neymar Jr. arrived at Al Hilal, yet a cloud of uncertainty looms over his Saudi Arabian journey. Following several consecutive lackluster campaigns, his new side is contemplating some bold decisions. One of these decisions entails parting ways with the team’s current manager, and, apparently, if they choose to do so, they could potentially incur a gigantic loss of $8.5 million.

This summer, Al Hilal spared no penny, investing hundreds of millions to assemble a formidable squad. However, to transform this talented ensemble into a winning force, a capable and inspirational leader is paramount.

Al Hilal is reportedly considering parting ways with their head coach, Jorge Jesus. The decision has been prompted by the team’s recent string of mediocre performances. Their most recent unimpressive result came during the opening group stage match in the AFC Champions League. As a result, rumors of a potential split between the club and the manager are gaining momentum.

However, it won’t be a straightforward task for Al Hilal. Apparently, if they sanction the dismissal of Jesus, it will cost them around 8 million euros or $8.5 million. In fact, it doesn’t end here as according to the new rules, they would need to save the aforementioned amount before they dismiss Jesus from duties.

Certainly, this poses a significant challenge for Al Hilal, who is keen to get rid of the 69-year-old. Although Al Hilal is currently leading the Roshn Saudi League table, part of the Riyadh side still believes a change in the coaching system is required. However, even if they look to relieve the current head coach from his duties, it may cost them a fortune.

Nevertheless, it remains to be seen what decision they make regarding Jorge Jesus. Meanwhile, let’s turn our attention to Neymar’s time at Al Hilal so far.
