Cristiano Ronaldo is currently enjoying his soccer days in Saudi Arabia. The striker ended his spell in Europe after signing for the Middle Eastern side Al Nassr. Over the years, he has played for many clubs, including Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Juventus. He has played an essential role in the history of elite clubs.

In fact, the player has shared the pitch with some of the greatest soccer players. He was even touted to share a team with Lionel Messi, but it was nothing but an unfulfilled dream. However, it seems the Portuguese skipper might have a chance to share the pitch with Messi’s teammate, Neymar Jr.

Naldo Benney wants soccer stars in Brazil

Recently, in an interview with ESPN, popular Brazilian singer, Naldo Benny expressed his wish to see Ronaldo at Brazil’s top side, Flamengo. The singer wants to unite the 38-year-old with former Madrid star, Marcelo. “I’m about to meet him and I really want to work things out, just as I did with Marcelo so he could go back to Brazil.”

“I have this goal of talking to Cristiano Ronaldo so that he comes to play for Flamengo. I, like almost a vice-president of Flamengo, the crowd is already wanting me there to unwind these things there.” He also had kind words for the club. “I will say that he will come to the best place in the world, to paradise, to the national team, in fact, which is Flamengo.”

Benney also wants to bring PSG superstar, Neymar alongside Ronaldo. “I think not only about Cristiano Ronaldo, I think Neymar also wants to come here too, to Flamengo. Then Flamengo will be round. I haven’t [talked to him] yet, but I will. Neymar is our 01 and this tram cannot only come with CR7, Neymar has to come too”.

The singer insisted on having a word with Neymar and his entourage for a possible move. “Partner, I’m going to talk to Gil Cebola, who lives there with Neymar, let’s talk over the phone. He has to come to Mengão too, because it’s just like him. All those people shouting there: ‘Neymaaaar, êh ôh,’”

Benny on meeting Cristiano Ronaldo

It would be interesting to see how Benney will convince both superstars to join the Brazilian side. Nevertheless, while talking about his super plan, the singer also opened up about his first meeting with CR7.

“It was another very special moment for me when I went to the Santiago Bernabéu. Cristiano was still playing for Real Madrid. I already knew my friend Marcelo, he was very nice to me. The funny thing is, I’m a huge LeBron fan and I wasn’t really into it,” he said.

The singer admitted he didn’t know much about Ronaldo, but was surprised to see his craze. Moreover, he learned about the Portuguese star after having a word with his son. “My son said: ‘Damn, you’re with Cristiano Ronaldo and all’. I said: ‘Yes, but why?’. Then I came to understand the greatness of Cristiano Ronaldo”.

Benny also revealed that Ronaldo had kind words for him. “I was there with Marcelo and Cristiano Ronaldo arrived saying: ‘Man, you’re 01. I watch your stuff on YouTube and I listen to you at my house. I like your sound and your performances, your story, your battle, and everything you’ve presented to audiences’”.
