Eden Hazard posted an emotional farewell message for his fans through Instagram. The Belgian international wrote, “You must listen to yourself and say stop at the right time. After 16 years and more than 700 matches played, I have decided to end my career as a professional footballer.”

Eden Hazard has played 245 matches for Chelsea in the Premier League scoring 86 goals and providing 61 assists. During his stay at Santiago Bernabeu, the Belgian international, scored 4 goals and provided 9 assists in 54 games in La Liga before his contract ended with the club. Eden Hazard has amassed a total of 623 caps in his career, scoring 167 goals and providing 157 assists.
