It has been five years since Zlatan Ibrahimovic made his debut for LA Galaxy. Of course, that masterclass wouldn’t have been possible without USMNT starlet, Sebastian Lletget who paved the way for the striker to display one of the best performances.

Five years since Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s MLS masterclass

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is among the greatest players of all time. The striker has played for a host of clubs around Europe and has won many accolades as well. Outside Europe, he endured a great time with MLS side LA Galaxy. The player has made quite a history for the club as he joined the club back in 2017/18.

Hence it was around this time many years ago, the striker made his debut. Ibrahimovic came off the bench against LAFC and showed his masterclass. Galaxy was 3-0 down but somehow managed to score 2 goals, thus fighting for the comeback.

The club then substituted Sebastian Lletget, and in came the star signing from Manchester United. Hence, with just six minutes on the pitch, the striker instantly made an impact as he scored an out-of-this-world goal. Ibrahimovic scored a jaw-dropping volley from 40 yards and scored his first goal for the club.

However, it wasn’t the end of his masterclass, as the Swedish clinched a winning goal for his side. Ibrahimovic scored a lovely cushioned header, thus gifting Galaxy fans three points. Indeed, it was a match to remember as he wrote his name in the history books.

Moreover, it wouldn’t have been possible for Ibrahimovic to achieve the historic feat without the substitution of Sebastian Lletget, who recently opened up about his cheating scandal.

USMNT star opens up on cheating rumors

Sebastian Lletget had made quite a name for himself, both at the domestic and international levels. The midfielder was clinical for both USMNT and MLS side LA Galaxy. He was even famous as a partner of the renowned singer, Becky G. The player began dating the world-famous musical artist in 2016.

However, the player even admitted to cheating on the singer. However, he recently gave inside details on his Instagram. “Over the last several weeks, during a moment I regret deeply, a 10-minute lapse in judgment resulted in an extortion plot,” he wrote.

“Since this person did not get what they wanted it has now become a public social media spectacle filled with more lies than any truth and false posts aimed at the love of my life, the one person who I should never take for granted or put at risk.”
