As mentioned earlier, it was an all-expense party, and Reynolds told the players to keep their wallets and cards at home before boarding the flight. And to the surprise of the players, the owners kept their promise and threw an extravagant party. It completely blew away the players, according to Ben Foster.

Foster said“We walked in, and the music changed right away. They started playing a Wrexham song, and then these banners drop all the way around the nightclub, and it’s got like Wrexham badges and Paul Mullin and Ben Tozer. All these flares going up and stuff like that, and everybody’s just be looking around thinking ‘what on earth is going on here.’ This is just outrageous,” while speaking on Fozcast.

Foster said, “It was just ridiculous. And that was quite literally how it went. Pool party, dinner, nightclub, repeat.” Those were some incredible details shared by the goalkeeper, who recently signed his one-year contract extension.

Ben Foster extends his stay with the Red Dragons

The former Manchester United goalkeeper joined Wrexham in March this year on a short-term deal. He came out of retirement to join the Red Dragons. It was his second stint with the club after last playing for them in 2005. Foster played a phenomenal role in Wrexham’s promotion by saving a crucial penalty against Notts County.

The Red Dragons offered him a one-year deal after the season ended. He took his time to decide and finally accepted the proposal to stay with the club for the next season. Ryan Reynolds will play in EFL League Two next season, and Foster is already thinking of another promotion.
