The Wrexham story is one for the ages. When Ryan Reynolds took over the club, no one expected him to turn it around completely. Both Ryan and Rob McElhenney deserve credit for the sensational few weeks for the club. And most of Ryan’s love for soccer came up when he visited Madrid. With Real Madrid being one of the best teams in the world, Ryan loved the passion, the city, and how they went about things at the club. Hence, he compared the same atmosphere to his locker room. Having a set of players to rely on, Ryan spoke about the sensational dressing room atmosphere in a recent interview.
Having a stable locker room is necessary for the team to achieve success. Not one team in any sport had won by having a toxic locker room. So Ryan pointed out why he thinks it is the best locker room in all sports!

Ryan Reynolds believes Wrexham has the best locker room
In a recent interview, he explained, “The thing I’m probably most proud about the culture around the club is that I think we have the best locker room in all sports. I really do. That dressing room is filled with people who have, whose integrity matches their abilities on the field. And who or genuinely has that Three Musketeers All for One and One for All? It’s a sentiment which I know has been abused in sports for many years.”
Having a locker room with characters helps the team to grow more. They won the National League and won promotion after 15 years. Therefore, the players and the staff contributed to an extraordinary season, according to Ryan. He continued, “But I really see it practiced day in and day out with these players, the staff. Everybody. The grounds crew at the Racecourse. And the supporters even. All of that contributes to how great that healthy locker room is.”
To see his passion for the game is staggering. Coming from a country where soccer is rapidly growing, Ryan is one of the best owners of English soccer. All of this started with a visit to Madrid, where he fell in love with the 14-time European champions, Real Madrid.
