He continued, “We didn’t have a friendship, of course. On a personal level, I think he deserves everything. What he achieved, both personally and professionally, is because he is a good person.” Notably, Moreno signed for Real Madrid Castilla in 2009 from Celta Vigo’s youth setup. However, he left Los Blancos without even making a single appearance in the senior team alongside Cristiano Ronaldo.

Moreno signed for Benfica and then he enjoyed many loan spells back and forth with the English side Bolton and Madrid’s rival Valencia. In 2020, he was captured by Leeds but left in the last summer transfer window to sign for Qatari Stars League side Al-Rayyan. Either way, this is some heartfelt praise from Moreno for CR7. Interestingly, even Ronaldo’s teammates are awestruck by him.
