Gerard Pique used to once be one of the best defenders in the soccer universe. The Spaniard abruptly hung up his boots after falling out of favor with Xavi, FC Barcelona’s manager. Since then, Pique was working hard on his new and unique soccer competition called the Kings League.

Since its launch, the Kings League has been quite a successful venture. Its unique rules are what make Pique’s soccer league stand out. One such rule is that every team’s 12 man can be chopped and changed at any time. It’s sort of like a wildcard for every game.

Ibai Llanos, President of Porcinos FC, has shocked the soccer universe after introducing the most recent wildcard entrant in his squad.

Soccer legend to make a legendary comeback!

Ibai Llanos also gave his fans a little teaser before announcing who the player was. He specified that he would be one of the best players in soccer history. He also claimed that the fans weren’t ready for this announcement. The fans did get an idea that it would be a soccer legend after Llanos dropped the obvious hint. However, the fans found it hard to actually pinpoint a name. All the suspense then turned into shock a few hours later.

The person of concern was none other than Ronaldinho. The Brazilian soccer legend has been out of the game for quite a while now. However, he’s living a peaceful life after prison with his own little business venture. The Brazilian soccer pro is ready to give soccer another shot at the age of 42. The soccer legend will probably join the league for just a single game this weekend.

However, this isn’t the first surprise for the fans of the league, a few weeks ago Gerard Pique made a special announcement with FC Barcelona’s president, Joan Laporta. It’s safe to say that this collaboration will do Pique’s soccer competition the world of good in terms of global viewership. The FC Barcelona defender and Ibai Llanos announced Ronaldinho’s return to the game through the same teaser video that went viral on Twitter in just a few minutes.

While this is a feel-good moment for every fan, the Kings League hasn’t been in the news recently for the right reasons.

Why did Gerard Pique fight with the Presidents of the Kings League?

Just a few days ago, a huge fight reportedly broke out in the Kings League. The fans were shocked after Gerard Pique left the WhatsApp group of his own soccer league in anger. The quarrel was between the presidents of two teams, along with Gerard Pique. There was basically a rule breach during one of the games last weekend in the unique soccer competition. The referee made an obvious error and Pique added to the mess.

However, the Spanish soccer pro managed to silence everyone in the league after having a firm conversation with the presidents on a live stream. The fans were shocked after Pique’s life has turned into a state of turmoil since the diss track. However, Ronaldinho’s inclusion will act as a distraction and finally take the limelight away from Shakira’s diss track to poke fun at Gerard Pique.
