Ryan Reynolds’ Wrexham Bids $127,000 For Emerging Irish Star, Eyeing a Backup for Ben Foster

Wrexham has done an amazing job so far moving up to the League Two division of English soccer. Following the takeover, both Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney have stood behind the clubs’ endeavors. While Wrexham signed ex-Premier League star Ben Foster to continue his stay at the club, the club will have to keep an eye on the future.

With the club looking to move up the divisions, the team will have to build with the future in eyesight. The Welsh side has identified Irish goalkeeper Luke McNicholas as a suitable replacement for Ben Foster and has submitted a $127,000 bid in pursuit of the player.

Luke McNicholas has been the first-choice goalkeeper for the Rovers this season. The Irish youngster has been an emerging star in the league for his side and could be a great addition to the squad at Racecourse Ground. With Wrexham willing to shell out $127,000 plus add-ons, the Irish side could part ways with the 23-year-old goalkeeper.
