One of the most famous couples to split in 2022 was Colombian singer Shakira and FC Barcelona star Gerard Pique. Their two children, Sasha and Milan, are currently with the singer and are spending Christmas without Pique in the desert with their mom.

Shakira shared on her social media handles beautiful pics of her vacation with children in the UAE. The holiday comes at the back of a recent custody agreement reached between the singer and Pique.

Shakira is spending the Christmas holidays in Dubai with her children

Shakira shared an adorable pic of herself with children in the deserts of Dubai. The caption read, “In the desert, searching for serenity this Christmas.” She revealed her plans for a holiday and will be in Dubai until December 30, after arriving last Wednesday.

Queen of Latin Music and Spanish soccer star started dating back in 2011. Shakira came to the limelight in the soccer world and the fans after ‘Waka Waka, It’s Time for Africa’, the official song of the FIFA World Cup 2010. The 2010 World Cup winner featured in the song where it all started. Pique is ten years younger compared to Shakira.

The couple, after nearly eleven years of togetherness, confirmed their separation in a joint statement this year. It came as a shock to the fans and the soccer world and enjoying their Christmas holidays separately for the first time in eleven years. The kids are with the singer as a part of a custody agreement between the two.

Pique and the Colombian singer reached a custody agreement for their children

The celeb couple reached the custody agreement for their two children, Milan and Sasha, a few days back. They released a joint statement on reaching the agreement. 

Pique and Shakira want a better future for their children is the sole reason behind the agreement. As per multiple reports, Shakira will be moving together with the children to Miami after they spend the New Year with Pique. Pique can visit children whenever he wants, according to the same reports.
